EMMANUEL MACRON's threats to fishing permits around Jersey appear to have backfired as the Dover-Calais route is currently under review by the UK.

Boost in trade at UK docks in the North.
Not doing Calais any favours.
We have a winner. Can't beat a good risk mitigation exercise.
Starting to feel like a trading nation again. Let's get all our ports busy with ships regularly in and out, to and from all parts of the world.
