Published at : November 07, 2021
Kenosha County states 19-year-old Dominick David Black, from Kenosha, faces two counts of intentionally giving a dangerous weapon to a person under age 18, causing death. According to the criminal complaint, on May 1, Black purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P AR15 rifle from the Ladysmith Ace Home Center in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Black obtained the money to buy the rifle for Kyle Rittenhouse to use. Rittenhouse, 17 at the time of the purchase, was not legally able to purchase the rifle for himself. Aware of this fact, Black purchased the weapon. Since Rittenhouse was a minor and did not have an Illinois firearm owner ID card, he and Black agreed that the rifle would be stored at the residence of Black's stepfather, located in Kenosha.
